Latrobe Valley Woodworkers & Woodturnering Club Inc.

The Latrobe Valley Woodworking and Woodturning Club Inc. is located at the Coach House within Old Gippstown.

The group was formed in 1988-89 and provides encouragement, tuition and hands on help for most, if not all, aspects of woodworking.  Guidance in the use of all machinery  is available which includes issues relating to safety.  Wood lathes, thicknessers, planers, saws, router tables, bandsaws and sanding machines are only some of the items available for use, as well as a full array of hand tools.

TurningGroup projects are carried out to enhance the park and elsewhere for other worthy causes.  Participation and demonstrations at local external shows and fairs is part of the fun of being a "woody".

A display room is available to show your wares and be placed for sale if required.

Display Interaction with other woodworking groups across the state is available by newsletters and by visiting the numerous number of displays and demonstrations that take place in different areas.

Inspection of the workshop facility is available for all with visitors being most welcome at any time.  Materials are sourced by members and available for use by members on site.
